About Us
Echelon Economic Development Management (EEDM) is an independent, private Namibian fund-management company established to provide a transparent, compliant and highly accountable vehicle for managing third-party development funds. EEDM provides investors, donor countries, international advisory partners and private investors with a trusted disbursement channel for their impact investment funds.
EEDM receives, safeguards and disburses development funds in strict accordance with regulatory requirements, good governance principles, project budgets, procurement guidelines and investor-approved scopes. Every transaction undergoes full Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, and funds are managed under audited, highly regulated processes. Our consultants provide exceptional expertise across bilateral agreements, project and scope management, chartered accounting, financial auditing and tax compliance – ensuring every Dollar is allocated for its intended purpose.
EEDM does not source or select projects. Instead, we pride ourselves on effective collaboration with the investor’s chosen project managers and technical partners to provide disciplined fund stewardship. This means timely, accurate disbursement and transparent, ongoing reporting aligned with appropriate accounting standards.
Namibia has entered a period of rapid development. Priorities range from energy, Oil & Gas, and green hydrogen opportunities to transportation infrastructure, healthcare facilities and social development. In this context, EEDM provides the governance backbone and financial acumen needed to help investors engage with confidence.
Our lean structures, owner-managed agility, and unwavering commitment to transparency enables us to strengthen relationships, accelerate development and ensure funds drive real impact for Namibia’s people and its future. At the same time, our resolute commitment to safeguarding development funds and ensuring that investors achieve their desired return on investment – whether financial, environmental or social – is unrivalled.
